The History of Adagio
For nearly two decades, Tim and Jan Wahl poured their love of classical music and fine wine into every bottle of Adagio Vineyards.
Their journey began in 2006, when they first stood on untouched land in the Yadkin Valley and imagined a vineyard that would reflect both their passions and the region’s natural beauty. By 2009, grapevines took root, and in 2013 the winery and tasting room opened their doors, welcoming guests to experience wine crafted with intention, balance, and harmony.
Today, Tim and Jan are enjoying a well-deserved next chapter—traveling and spending time with their grandchildren in Nashville—while the vineyard they built continues to grow.
In 2025, Beau and Andrea Tiffany became the new stewards of Adagio Vineyards. Together with their two boys, they are thoughtfully building upon the strong foundation the Wahls established—honoring the vineyard’s history while bringing fresh energy, creativity, and a family-run spirit to its future.
From our family to yours, we invite you to slow down, savor the moment, and enjoy the harmony in every glass.
